Financial and compliance audit on compensation procedures by the Hellenic Agricultural Insurance Organization

The audit revealed the following findings: a. non-formation of a special reserve to cover insurance risk, b. significant delay in the collection of insurance contributions, c. absence of safety net for the insurance of all agricultural holdings.

The Hellenic Court of Audit made the relevant recommendations (e.g. the creation of a reserve) and a follow-up audit was carried out.
