The number and responsibilities of each Judicial Section are determined by a decision of the Plenum, which is published in the Government Gazette.

The First Section has jurisdiction to impute deficits, exceeding the amount of €100,000, to persons who are causally and directly linked to their creation, as well as to recipients of undue payments, in accordance with the procedure laid down in Articles 145 et seq. of the Court’s Organic Law.
