Son of the chieftain of Vonitsa Anastasios Sultanis. During the Greek Revolution of 1821, he took over Patras from the French general Maisons and for many years he was the guard of this city. Subsequently, quite young he entered the financial service of the State and on 3/6/1873 he was appointed as Auditor at the Court of Auditors. He was President of the Court of Auditors from 28/5/1882 to 6/1/1890. He died on 19.9.1901
