Politician and Economist. He was born in 1861 in Kontochorio, Thira. He was appointed an employee at the Ministry of Finance and held all the ranks (Secretary, Head of Department, Director and Inspector) of this Ministry. In June 1896 he was awarded Doctor of Law. After leaving the Ministry of Finance he was appointed Advisor to the Court of Auditors, in 1914 he was promoted to the rank of Vice President and in 1923 to the rank of President of the Court of Auditors, holding office from 8/3/1923 to 31/10/1923. Subsequently, he was elected Member of Parliament for Thera in the 4th National Assembly from 16/12/1923 to 30/9/1925 and in the 2nd Parliament from 19/8/1928 to 18/8/1932 of the Liberal Party of Eleuth. Venizelou. He was Minister of Finance from 14/11/1922 to 15/12/1922 in the government of Stylianos Gonatas and Minister of National Economy from 17/9/1926 to 26/10/1926, of Transport from 21/9/1926 to 11/10/1926 and of Finance from 26/10/1926 to 4/12/1926 in the Government of Georgiou Kondylis. He also served as President of the Auditing Court from 8/3/1923 to 31/10/1923. He died in Athens on 27/7/1952.
